Welcome to Physical Education Class at GHS!
Physical Education is a requirement for Missouri high school graduation. Each student must accumulate 1.5 credits for graduation, but many students choose to take additional semesters because they enjoy having the opportunity for fitness during their school day. Many of the decisions students are making today will affect their health and wellness for years to come. The Physical Education and Health curriculums at Grandview High School are designed to compliment each other in assisting students to develop life-long healthy habits and to introduce strategies for teenagers in dealing with wellness issues of today. Everything that students learn in Physical Education class will be applicable throughout their entire lives. Both Physical Education and Health are two of the most relevant classes students will take during their high school career.
